Speed Limits!!!

(Click on the image to see the actual ticket!)Anyone who has ever been with me in my car has asked me "How many points do you have on your driving history or Have many times have you been caught by cops?". I always used to smile and say "touchwood". But "touchwood" effect didn't lasted for long! After just 6 months of rash driving I got a overspeeding ticket :-(. I was just going on 41mph in 25mph zone.... WTF!!! Do you call it overspeeding??? I can run faster than 25mph!
Now poor me would get 4 points and has to pay $105 of fine. Only god know how much my insurance is gonna rise. These insurance companies are real bastards! I know they are going to screw me!!! :-(( Yeah am screwed!
Now I keep an eye on the speed limits and my odometer/speedometer/wotever meter. Shit man! Driving slow is boring! I was the kinds who loves driving and that too driving at high speeds with Moojik blowing out at full volume. My poor old Honda Accord has touched 110mph and now it doesn't goes beyond 60mph. Shit man!!! Driving on 25mph I feel like am crawling like a helpless insect on the road! Slow driving Sucks!!!
I beleive world should be a free place with no limits including speed limits!!! ;-)
Again calling for Jehad this time against speed limits! Allah-hu-akbar!

Speed kills. There are no two ways about it. Speeding is responsible for 30% of all fatal crashes and, according to the poll, 71% of us do it. Some guys like to drive fast and others only speed when they're late; neither reason makes doing so safe.
So sudhar jaa bhidu....kab ticket milegi maalum nahi... jab tak planet earth ki ticket hai tab tak thik hai... bhagwan tere dimaag ko thanda rakhe ;)
accha hua bhut accha hua..aa gayi na akkal...do char or katten ticket to chalani bhi aa jayegi acchi tarah...sambhal ke chalao..tht wld be good 4 u..

Hey ....... my 2 cents on this.
a) chal yaar itni speed bhi achi nahi hoti
b) Now a good news: You can save urself by both the points and may be the fine too.
This is what u need to do:
call the court and give them the ticket number and tell them you want to defend it.
They'll give you a date. That day try defending it. They'll give u an option of accept the fault as a machine defect. So your points waived off.
For the fee, you can actually commit to some 10-15 hours of community service (get ideas from Rusty or me ;)) and they'll replace that with the fine.

speed limit??? voh kya hota hai? in india street dogs and zig-zag cycle wallas are the best speed brakers. and to add to it,in mumbai traffic rulez!
well rules r made to b broken. but not in the case of driving atleast.
our perception about things makes lotsa difference to our behaviour.
when we r suppose to drive at the speed of 25mph zone then pedestrians and other drivers expect the same from us. breaking this rule will certainly put boths our and others life on risk. losing somebody close to us coz of others mistake is the worst that can happen to us.
shanky i know u as a sensible guy. good that you started looking at odometer now. there lanes which allow more than 50 mph speed. enjoy them.take care of urself.

Yeah I know I should be careful and beleive me I'm always careful when I drive in local roads... it was just my bad luck that I didn't noticed that i touched 41mph... else am always careful.
I usually speed at the freeways but no regrets now... better that I got a ticket rather than meeting up with something bad.

Indeed? You must surely take part in the Olympics then. To clarify, 25mph = 11.11m/s. Which means you could run 100m in under 9 seconds; almost 0.8 seconds clear of the world record. Surely, India is guaranteed at least one gold at Beijing.
Also, the ticket cites your name as 'Shashank Shashank'. Whatever happened to FNU Shawshank?

Isi liye bola tha.. daru pee ka mat chala gaddi.. tabhi 25 mph ko 52 mph padh liya hoga.. hahaha.. :P
